As the founder and director of Lalli Consulting Engineers Mike has personally developed the firm to be the highly experienced, tight-knit group that they are today. Mike often refers to the group as part of his extended family.

Mike’s early career led him on an exciting path of working with the Federal Government Department of Works on projects such as multi-storey concrete buildings utilising post-tensioned construction, marine works at Garden Island Naval Base and other large infrastructure projects around the state.

After 20 years, when the Department of Works closed their doors, Mike was approached by a friend to see if he was interested in the carrying out the engineering design for their house. He response was “sure I can” and from there, the seed was planted for Lalli Consulting Engineers.

Mike’s a family man at heart and relishes the time he spends with his family especially his five grandchildren. He has never forgotten his Italian roots and is fervently proud of his recent venture into wine making from the small vineyard he planted in the Swan Valley and of his home-made Extra Virgin olive oil from his small olive grove.

Brett’s responsibilities cover office and client manager, quality control, carrying out of site inspections and providing advice to clients all while maintaining and forging customer relationships.

When time allows, Brett still likes to get on the ‘tools’ and design, problem solve and draft jobs. 

Brett is a married father of 1 newborn and has 2 lively dachshunds.

Brett enjoys the problem solving and hands on jobs like home renovations and home improvements (bricklaying, carpentry, steel fabrication and general construction). He says having that hands-on experience makes it a lot easier to think from a practical point of view once you have hands on experience. 

He is a keen mountain biker on the weekend and competes in the Gravity Enduro state series. He enjoy rock climbing, hiking and his snowboarding trips to Japan and overseas.

Brett has been part of the Lalli family since 2006 and has been in the engineering industry since 2006.

Andrew’s day to day activities include structural design and engineering coordination. He enjoys the challenge that structural engineering presents as well as working together with others who are passionate about the building industry.

Away from work Andrew unwinds by playing guitar and spending time outdoors together with his wife and son. As a family they enjoy travelling and discovering new places together.

Andrew has been working as an engineer since 2009 and has been at Lalli Consulting Engineers since 2012. He has been part of the Lalli family since 1987.

Scotts managerial role sees himself checking / overseeing the documentation that leaves the office, managing the drafting standards and ongoing improvements / development of the documentation produced by the office and quoting on new projects and building positive relationships with clients.  

Scott enjoys the technical drawings and problem solving required for the work that he does.

Outside of work, Scott loves his time outdoors, and hopefully scoring waves. He enjoys all sports but mostly the afl (wce fan).

Along with his wife and daughter, they are always planning getaways and holidays to anywhere the sun is shining, and waves are pumping.

Scott has been part of the Lalli family since 2011 and has been in the engineering industry since 2010.

Scott is also a double Lalli Footy Tipping Champion here in the offices.

Guy's role focusses on the structural design of residential & commercial multi-storey structures.

Guy enjoys to spend time with family, play soccer, run and cycle to keep fit.

As a family, they love to holiday in the south west region of WA.

Gaetano has been part of the Lalli family since 2015 and has been in the engineering industry since 1993.

Josh enjoys a wide variety of projects from small single storey additions, larger multi storey residences and unit developments and enjoys improving the great working relationship he has developed with our long term clients. He is passionate about increasing efficiencies within the office and ensuring quality of design and documentation id always improving.

Josh likes cooking and enjoying good food and drinks whilst entertaining with friends. He enjoys spending time with family and hopefully travel around the state with his young kids in the not too distant future.

He loves kicking back and watching the cricket during summer.

Josh has been part of the Lalli family since 2012 and has been in the engineering industry since 2008.

Josh is also a tripple Lalli Footy Tipping Champion here in the offices.

Mark comes with a vast knowledge of building techniques. He conducts site inspections, investigations and testing for a variety of structures and projects.

Mark enjoys camping, fishing & football.

Mark has been part of the Lalli family since 1998 and has been in the construction industry since 1989.

Kylie’s role sees her covering structural drafting for a variety of residential & commercial developments.

As a mother of 2 young kids, Kylie enjoys camping & fishing and travelling around WA.

Kylie has been part of the Lalli family since 2007 and has been in the engineering industry since 2007.

Danny's role as a draftsperson calls upon his skills for drafting & design on a wide variety of projects. He also enjoys attending site and assisting with our dilapidation reporting and various fieldwork & inspections.

Danny is an avid supporter of the Fremantle Dockers and likes to play the guitar along with the odd round of golf.

Danny has been part of the Lalli family since 2018 and has been in the engineering industry since 2006.

Karen keeps our administration and accounts running smoothly.

A nanna of 8 who likes to run half & full marathons & keep fit. Her favourite travel destinations are Noosa, Maroochydore & Queenstown NZ.

Karen has been part of the Lalli family since 2004 and has been in the engineering industry since 2004.

Toni’s day to day activities include general administration as well as keeping on top of the financials and accounting.

She’s an avid reader and loves spending time with her five grandchildren.

Toni has been part of Lalli Consulting Engineers since it’s conception and has worked together with Mike over the years.

Anthony sees to our site inspection reports, the operation of our vehicle mounted sample retrieval probe, inspecting retaining walls & cut base preparations along with PSP and DCP compaction testing.

His role often sees Anthony travelling as far north as Jurien Bay, south as far as Dunsborough and out east to Cunderdin, so he's seen plenty of our state to say the least.

Anthony's hobbies are fishing and diving, and he enjoys growing vegetables and cooking.

Anthony has been part of the Lalli family since 2005 and has been in the construction industry since 1990.
